Setting the Tone with Images
I am working on the interface design of a training program for professional caregivers. The topic of the program is Managing Aggressive Behaviors of Residents with Dementia. (Preventing and managing behaviors like hitting, grabbing, hair pulling, etc.). I'm trying to decide what kind of mood or tone to set and the images we use in the packaging and on the main home page will help define this.
What do you think would be good to use?

Go with something that illustrates the aggressive resident behavior?

Go with something that implies an opportunity for relief, respite, or the handling of a delicate situation?

Go with something institutional and healthcare oriented?
Any other ideas?

Stepparenting
Topic: Challenges and Tips
I am currently working to gather information and opinions on the topic of step parenting. This information will help in the development of content topics to be included in a new grant funded educational web program that will provide strategies and support for stepfamilies with an adolescent between 11 and 15 years of age. I would like to use this blog as a space where people can share their insights on the topic.
What are some of the challenges you or someone you know has faced as it relates to a stepfamily situation? What tips or strategies have you found to be successful for improving the harmony of stepfamily dynamics particularly when there are adolescent children involved?
